Research Administrator
Joy Bodyk, MBA is the Research Administrator with the Envision Research Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with minors in Business and Spanish from Mount St. Mary’s University, as well as a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Salisbury University. She came to Envision with over two decades of grants management and grant writing experience in both state agency and non-profit settings. During her tenure as Deputy Director of the Maryland Highway Safety Office, where she garnered much of her grant experience, she administered the annual distribution and management of approximately $15M of federal highway safety dollars to nearly 250 grantee and sub-grantee agencies throughout Maryland. Her duties at ERI include identifying funding opportunities; guiding scientific staff in the submission of grant applications; tracking budget expenditures to assist with financial reporting; helping to build the infrastructure, policies and procedures at ERI to ensure compliance with funding agency policy; and assisting with operations.
